LJ Hooker has bolstered its already dominant presence in Hobart after acquiring its fifth office in the region.
LJ Hooker Hobart announced the acquisition of Raine&Horne Hobart and Raine&Horne Commercial last week, with managing director Mark Devine claiming the move was an important step in the company’s growth strategy.
“It will bring a further 1,000 investment properties under our management and assist our clients wishing to sell, buy and rent both residential and commercial properties,” he said.
“The Raine&Horne Hobart office has been a successful business with a great team behind it, and we are confident we will continue to build and expand on that foundation.”
The acquisition will see LJ Hooker have five key offices in and around the immediate area, being Hobart, Glenorchy, Kingston, Margate and Bellerive.
“We have been in Tasmania for 50 years representing its residents,” Mr Devine said, “and we have built a solid reputation for continuing to evolve, setting new benchmarks and being an industry leader.
“We see improving times for the Tasmanian property market and it’s great to be part of that.”
