Off the back of winning the Rookie of the Year award in 2013, Chris Peake Real Estate has once again taken out the accolade at the Australasian Real Estate Results Awards (ARERA) night.

Andrew Ward was crowned young gun of the year at the ceremony last week, following in the footsteps of colleague David Wereszscuk, who claimed the title last year.

Principals of the Victorian independent office Kristen Turner and Marisa Adams revealed how they managed to produce two ‘Rookies of the Year’ in a row.

“The secret ingredient is belief – everyone needs validation in their careers, and a new person to the real estate game is actually in need of it more than anyone,” said Ms Turner.

“Along with a belief and performance culture within our business, Marisa and I have a very structured ‘Fast Start Program’ that every one of our new team members has to complete and be officially accredited for before heading out into the real estate environment.”

Together with the training provided by the Real Estate Results Network and top coach Michael Sheargold, Ms Turner believes she is onto a winning formula.

According to Ms Turner, last year’s winner, Mr Wereszscuk, has gone on to be one of Berwick’s highest performing agents.

According to Real Estate Results CEO Michael Sheargold, the awards were hotly contested this year.

“The awards are contested by the nation’s best of the best independent agencies and performers, and again we were impressed by the high level of competence and quality shown by agencies and the people behind the brands,” he said.
