McGrath has further expanded into Sydney's prestigious north shore market with the group’s 57th office opening last week.
The new office in Chatswood will help solidify the network's grip on the area, with the already established Northbridge office close by.
“We have already achieved great success in Chatswood and its surrounding area,” CEO John McGrath said. “Opening a dedicated sales office here is the next logical step and will allow us to have an even stronger presence in the area.”
The office is the fourth in a McGrath franchise group under the leadership of Dean Mackie, David Howe and Piers van Hamburg.
“Chatswood is highly sought-after with foreign buyers who are attracted to the lifestyle, schools and infrastructure,” Mr Mackie said.
“More recently, there has been a spike in foreign investors due to the Significant Investor Visa Program and the easing of the Australian dollar. This has resulted in an increase in buyer demand for properties, particularly those within walking distance of shopping centres, transport and restaurants.”
But there’s certainly no lack of Sydney locals who want to move to the area too.
“Buyers from the eastern suburbs and inner west are moving to the area and its surrounds as they are attracted to the bigger blocks and family homes on offer,” Mr Mackie said.
