The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) and ‘affiliates council’ have announced entries to the 2014 NSW Awards for Excellence are now open.
The Estate Agents Co-operative (EAC), one of the members of the affiliates council, said the awards aims to encourage, recognise and promote excellence and best practice in the profession.
“Entry to the Awards for Excellence is open to NSW affiliate council members of the REIA, including Estate Agents Co-operative, LJ Hooker, Professionals and First National,” said CEO of the EAC David Crombie.
“Like the Australasian Real Estate Institutes’ Auctioneering Championships, these awards provides the winning offices with the opportunity to be recognised at both a state and national level," he said.
“There will be 15 separate award categories and the winners from the EAC/REIA New South Wales Awards for Excellence will progress to REIA National Awards for Excellence in Perth on 12 March 2015.”
The categories include large, medium and small residential agencies of the year, commercial agency, innovation, communications and community service awards.
Individuals can pick up residential or commercial Salesperson of the Year, as well as residential or commercial Property Manager of the Year.
Business Broker of the Year, Buyer’s Agent of the Year, Corporate Support Person of the Year are also available categories.
The awards will be held at the Sofitel Wentworth, Sydney on Thursday 25 September 2014.
