Elders Real Estate has continued its impressive expansion with the opening of five franchises in the past month.
The new offices include Tumby Bay and Clare in South Australia, Malanda and Woombye in Queensland, and Elders Central in WA.
Elders now has 145 offices nationwide which, in the previous financial year, reportedly sold 7,500 properties for a combined total value of $13.5 billion.
The company’s operations manager, Andrew Simpson, said Elders continues to receive a great deal of interest from potential franchises for both capital and regional areas.
“The idea of running your own business and utilising the strength of the Elders brand and network at the same time is very appealing to many potential business owners,” Mr Simpson said.
Elders has singled out WA as one state with real promise for the group. On top of the recent opening of the Central office, it reports it has added 17 new sales across the state in the past 12 months.
The manager of its Central office in the Perth suburb of Spearwood, John Crofts, recently decided to become an Elders franchisee after 30 years in the industry.
“I took a lot of time to research different franchise groups before joining Elders,” Mr Crofts said.
“Elders’ continued growth and evolving technology, as well as its training and mentoring for myself and my staff, meant it were clearly the best fit for me.”
Likewise, the Elders brand continues to do well in its home state of South Australia, despite the challenges of working in regional areas.
“We are strategically targeting locations in both metro and regional South Australia in a committed effort to increase our footprint,” a spokesperson said.
