This year’s Top 100 Agents ranking remains a wide open race, if recent history is any guide.
While many of the country’s best known and most successful agents performed strongly in last year’s list, the sales figures of agents that made the 2014 Top 100 Agents ranking were more varied than many may realise.
The number of sales recorded by the agents on the list ranged from 29 to 193, while the number of listings ranged from 20 to 235.
Sales volumes ranged from $55.2 million to $261.4 million, while the average sale price ranged from $482,000 to $2.8 million.
Critically, for those yet to participate in the annual Top 100 Agents ranking, the analysis also showed that agents who entered for the first time were rewarded in droves, with 66 new entrants making the final cut.
Real Estate Business publisher Tom Sullivan said the previous three editions of the Top 100 Agents ranking showed that elite performers come in all shapes and sizes.
“This ranking identifies the best of the best. And, as history clearly shows, the country’s best performing agents aren’t necessarily limited to certain locations or sales metrics,” he said.
The Top 100 Agents 2015 list is based on settled residential sales in the 2014 calendar year. The final ranking is based on an agent’s number of sales, sales volume and average sales price.
