Harcourts Australia has expanded by more than 15 per cent over the past year, with more openings planned for this quarter.
The group said it now has 361 offices in Australia after adding 53 new locations in the 12 months to 31 March this year.
Eight offices have been added in the first quarter of this calendar year: Carlingford in Sydney, Henley Beach in Adelaide, Stafford and Everton Park in Brisbane, Point Cook and Ringwood in Melbourne and North Geelong and Mirboo North in regional Victoria.
Harcourts also said it would open another 12 offices this quarter in NSW, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
Operations manager Marcus Williams said the past year has been a period of tremendous growth for the group.
“It is a great result for us and I believe conditions are right for continued growth throughout the year,” Mr Williams said.
“There is definitely more buyer confidence out there at the moment and we are starting to see more business owners take advantage of the times by opening a new office or growing their existing base.”
Harcourts has also launched two new apps in 2014/2015, and adopted the cloud-based Microsoft 365 product suite for its franchisees.
