Australians who aren’t in real estate would have wondered what REinnovate was when it gained massive social media reach last week.

The technology conference, which Real Estate Business hosted in Sydney last Thursday, trended on Twitter on both Thursday and Friday.

The REinnovate hashtag has so far attracted about 1,000 tweets from more than 400 people and generated more than 2.5 million impressions.

One of the key themes of REinnovate was to show agents how to use social media to generate leads and build brand awareness.

The conference also discussed digital disruption, big data, digital marketing, SEO and future technology.

More than 400 people attended REinnovate and the subsequent cocktail party at which the Top 100 Agents countdown occurred. Video and photo highlights will be published in coming weeks.

REinnovate was partnered by Agentbox, APM PriceFinder, Console, CoreLogic RP Data, Domain, Homely, realestateVIEW.com.au, Rex and Rockend.
