Fraud squad arrests real estate identity

The former director of an Adelaide real estate agency has appeared in court today.

The man, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was arrested yesterday by detectives from the Major Fraud Investigation Section.

He has been charged with 18 counts of theft.

South Australia Police has alleged that the man “misappropriated funds entrusted to him for investment purposes” while serving as a director of the agency.
