An app that streamlines the referral process between agents and brokers is gaining momentum within the real estate and finance industry.
The app was launched by Josh Bartlett, a leading broker at Ray White’s sister company, Loan Market.
Since the eBroker app became available in May, 225 brokers have signed up to the program and more than 3,400 leads have been captured, according to Loan Market.
The referral process begins when an agent logs in and enters the client’s details. The broker receives an automatic SMS letting them know there’s a lead to contact, and the agent then receives a confirmation once the broker has made contact with the client.
The broker can also keep the agent informed of each stage of the loan, should the client allow this.
Loan Market chairman Sam White said eBroker allows more brokers to cement their relationships with their referral partners, particularly within Ray White.
“The first step in any referral partnership is building trust,” he said.
“The eBroker app is playing a big role in earning that trust with Ray White agents because the leads given to our brokers become 100 per cent trackable throughout the whole sales process.”
Mr Bartlett said the idea for eBroker came when he first began as a broker four years ago.
“Starting out, a lot of brokers don’t have a support team behind them to help manage the daily admin of business,” he said.
“The eBroker app was essentially my first assistant. It helped me keep on top of all my leads and it provided a greater and more transparent service to my referral partners, which in turn strengthened those relationships,” he said.
