Domain Group’s ongoing investment in digital technology has been recognised with a trio of app design awards.
Domain won two gold medals at the 2015 App Design Awards – one for its Home Price Guide and the other for Best Mobile Marketing Campaign.
Home Price Guide, which was launched in August, gives consumers access to data on every property in Australia.
The marketing award was for a mobile-first campaign that was designed to drive app downloads, while also helping consumers during the spring selling season.
Domain also took home the Champion Chairman’s Award, which recognises the organisation that has “consistently commissioned excellent development and applications, thereby providing instrumental support and growth for the wider mobile community”.
The group was also awarded two silver medals – one for its Apple Watch development and the other for its suite of apps and website products.
Chief executive Antony Catalano said the awards recognise Domain’s change of strategy, which the group started implementing 12 months ago.
“Mobile technology is central to our plans and our ambitions, and in the past year we have made enormous progress – in product, audience, agents, listings, marketing, content and consumer experience,” he said.
“We have been rated the best consumer app in the market for some time. To have that leadership reinforced at Australia's most prestigious app design awards is particularly pleasing, and a well-earned pat on the back for the entire Domain team.”
