A leading real estate agent has set two new records in two weeks, with one property raking in more than $10 million.
Noel Nicholson, from Ray White in Sydney’s Palm Beach, sold 17 Ilya Avenue in Bayview for a street record price of $6.7 million. A week later, he sold a property at Bayview Heights, setting another record of $10.8 million.
Mr Nicholson said 90 per cent of buyers come from outside the area.
“So I work hard to maintain my network of national and overseas buyers,” he said.
“It allows me to drive sales results beyond the expectation of my clients, and [these two sales] are a great reflection of that.”
Mr Nicholson, who started his career with Ray White in 2007 before leaving in 2010, has recently returned to the group.
“I began my real estate career with Ray White and made the decision to re-join the group because I saw an opportunity to merge my knowledge of the prestige property market with Ray White’s family values.”
Mr Nicholson will run the Palm Beach office with his wife Susan, a corporate organisational psychologist.
“Susan has worked with leading chief executives around the world and will look after all the business operations to ensure we’re running efficiently and recruiting people who share our business ethos, one that is centred on client relationships,” Mr Nicholson said.
Chairman of Ray White NSW, Stephen Nell, welcomed Mr Nicholson back to Ray White.
“Noel is well known within Ray White and we are so proud that, when the time came to open his own business, he chose to come back to our group.”
Mr Nicholson has worked in the upper northern beaches market since 2004.
