Boutique network emphasises IT

A Sydney, Southern Highlands, and Central Coast-based real estate network has revealed that a new head of information technology has joined the business.

DiJones has appointed Simon Dorrough to the role of head of IT.

According to CEO Dean Mackie, Mr Dorrough will lead the future direction of information technology for the network, working closely with head of brand and martech, Grant Gordon.

“His appointment exemplifies the commitment to long-term investment in strategic roles that will see long-term growth for the DiJones brand,” the CEO stated.

“Simon has a strong pedigree in IT service delivery with extensive experience in building out and managing complex infrastructure and innovation programs. He will continue to develop our capabilities in regard to new technologies, business analytics and reporting as well as infrastructure,” Mr Mackie outlined.

A statement from DiJones announcing Mr Dorrough’s appointment revealed that he has experience across industries that include real estate, construction, retail and government.

He holds an MBA (Logistics and Supply Chain Management), as well as industry certifications from Google, ITIL and Microsoft.

Weighing in on his decision to join the network, Mr Dorrough said, “I like to work in places that bring rapid change and a strong investment in people and DiJones exemplifies these strengths in an industry that is a seeing huge appetite for this approach.”

“As head of information technology, I am focused on building DiJones’ technology platforms into scalable offerings and providing a seamless IT experience,” he commented.

“I am driven by a passion for data-based decision making, striving for continual improvement to deliver the best possible business outcomes,” the IT expert concluded.
