Just in time for the peak summer period, realestate.com.au has revealed its latest rental campaign.

Set to run across radio, television, outdoor and online from December through to early February, REA Group has stated that the multi-channel rent marketing campaign “encourages consumers to search and apply instantly for their next rental home”.

The campaign is bolstered by a 15-second commercial that will air “during popular sorting broadcasts including Network 7’s Big bash League coverage”.

REA Group was quick to point out that even in the tough rental market, the property portal “has thousands of new rental listings every day”.

According to Sarah Myers, REA Group general manager – audience and marketing, the new campaign “aims to highlight the choice still available to consumers”.

It also aims to “support property manager customers over the busiest rental period”.

“While vacancy rates are currently at historic lows, we have the largest rental audience in Australia, and our rental campaign reminds consumers that there’s more choice on realestate.com.au,” she commented.

Touting REA Group’s aim being “to simplify the full rental journey”, she too acknowledged that December and January are busy periods.

“Many Australians are facing challenges when securing a rental home, and our Renter Profile feature enables tenants to efficiently apply for multiple properties. Importantly, realetate.com.au rental applications also offer enhanced security for both renters and property managers,” the general manager concluded.
