The agency has kicked off a recruitment campaign that hopes to empower agents to “tackle tomorrow’s challenges, today”.

DiJones’ latest recruitment campaign, the “Hypotheticals Roundtable Series”, aims to equip agents with skills and knowledge through an eight-episode series, where a panel of industry experts explore “what if” scenarios that could shape the future of the real estate sector.

The series is hosted by television presenter and real estate expert, Andrew Winter, alongside CoreLogic’s head of residential research, Eliza Owen, who together moderate the panel of industry experts including DiJones’ chief operating officer, Brent May, sales agent Lucie Trinco, and buyer’s agent and founder of The Acquiry, Mark Horvat.

Winter highlighted that the series’ use of “thought-provoking, entertaining and, at times, humorous scenarios” enabled the Hypotheticals campaign to serve as the “perfect forum for our panellists to engage with several ‘what if’ scenarios in depth”.

“Topics ranged from how spatial computing (such as VR headsets) could revolutionise virtual inspections to client prospecting using AI consumer data and protecting client data from cyber attacks,” he said.

Alongside subjects like how emerging technologies are expected to disrupt the property industry, Winter noted that the panel also focuses on issues such as the potential effects of negative gearing reform and early access to superannuation for buyers.

“It was a great experience collaborating with the team at DiJones, SpareRoom creative agency and all our panellists,” Winter said.

Speaking on the intentions of the campaign, May emphasised that “in our fast-paced society, the rate of change shows no signs of slowing, and real estate is not immune from change”.

“For agents to successfully thrive and adapt, it’s essential to regularly assess and plan for what might be around the next corner, with Hypotheticals providing the perfect platform to do just that,” May said.

Looking towards the future, May shared: “We look forward to filming more episodes of Hypotheticals to help agents manage whatever challenges and opportunities the future holds in store.”
