CampaignAgent embraces all-of-real estate transformation.

We met with Co-Founders Shaun Moriarty and Seth Watts to explore the evolution leading to their new broader offering. And talk about the company’s purpose – inspiring confidence in transformation.

As our industry steps off the post-pandemic roller coaster, CampaignAgent is gearing up with an expanded platform and a new all-of-real-estate approach. We met with Co-Founders Shaun Moriarty

and Seth Watts to explore the evolution leading to their new broader offering. And talk about the company’s purpose – inspiring confidence in transformation. 

CampaignAgent was the first Pay Now, Pay Later, Vendor Paid Advertising provider in the market, creating a new category and sparking a legion of imitators. With an idea born out of a conversation on a ski lift, they tore up the playbook to launch a win-win-win solution for vendors, agents, and principals – removing barriers to success and maximising potential with their original VPAPay solution.

While competitors have stuck mainly to their original offerings, CampaignAgent has continued to evolve. As Seth Watts explained, their founding principles remain the same – an agile model designed to react to the cultural and technological forces transforming modern real estate. It’s a process that has seen CampaignAgent‘s technology platform continually expand to remove pain points and capitalise on opportunities in the living room, the back office, and more recently, property management. 

People before technology.

By their own admission, the company’s success has less to do with technology or finance and more to do with people. They openly admit they are myopically focussed on how they can help users make more out of their opportunities in property.

As Shaun Moriarty puts it: “Real estate is a people-to-people business. A lot goes into building technology to support that. If we’re doing our job right not many people can see us. CampaignAgent just pops up when you need it, to help you get things done, and keep your people-to-people interactions moving. You don’t want software that you must log into and learn to make it part of your business. CampaignAgent makes itself present at the right moment and delivers what you need to keep rolling and get deals done.”

 

 

Artificial intelligence and assistance.


CampaignAgent's evolution can be seen in its enhanced ability to streamline and simplify. Their new AI-assisted platform predicts what you need next and provides it pre-populated if required for a faster, more intuitive user experience. There's nothing to install or learn. Just open CampaignAgent in your browser and go.

Seth Watts explains: "What we're seeing now is consolidation, collaboration, and a partnership – and the real estate business is helping us drive it. We're starting to weave together these awesome new tools that are hyper-efficient software ecosystems. This is where real change is going to be driven over the next couple of years. Previously we've had a range of cool digital tools. Separately they're good. But put them together, and you're working faster, unlocking potential, and saving serious coin."

Developing an all-of-real-estate solution.

The original VPAPay has been refined and is now superior to competitors in every way – allowing vendors to borrow up to $25K, with six months to pay (twice as long as competitors), for the same flat 5.9% fee. There’s also an expanding range of payment and funding tools to showcase what is fast becoming a full-service offering.

Other features include StagePay funding to style, stage, and add to property value. DepositNow+ helps homeowners bridge the gap between selling and buying their next property. SmartCommission, offers agents fast and flexible advances on commissions. And the most recent innovation, PMPay, brings property managers, landlords, and tenants new flexibility and payment options to streamline transactions, remove stress, and strengthen relationships.


As Shaun Moriarty said: “Vendors have flexible payment options when they sell their house. We can deliver tools with the same technology to property managers, landlords, and tenants in the property management space. That’s an area of real estate that’s been underserved. That will be a major focus for us in the coming months.”

These are exciting times for the team at CampaignAgent. As Seth Watts says, "We're pumped. We're launching the next generation of CampaignAgent. We've come a long way since 2015. If you had asked me then – what does the perfect product look like? I would have described exactly what we are launching now. In terms of flexibility, cost, protection of all in the process, and our amazing ability to drive excellent outcomes. You can't imagine how much work it's taken to get there. We're finally delivering the product we dreamed about seven years ago. Getting it to where we are now is the most exciting thing I can imagine."
