An industry veteran has jumped networks to take on a head of property management role with Harcourts Group Australia.
The real estate group has revealed it has appointed Karmen Costigan into the position, who most recently worked as the head of training at Combined Franchise Services, the company behind Century 21 and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.
Commenting on the announcement, Harcourts Group Australia CEO Marcus Williams said “we are thrilled to welcome Karmen to our awesome property management team”.
“Property management underpins our wealth, and at Harcourts, we, with Karmen’s guidance, will continue to develop our vision and value proposition to our teams, our clients and our business partners across Australia,” he commented.
The network has lauded Ms Costigan’s experience in real estate across both Australia and the United States, spanning more than two decades.
With a bachelor of education under her belt, Ms Costigan has expressed her excitement at bringing her teaching and online learning expertise to the team at Harcourts, highlighting that “building a successful learning experience goes way beyond content creation”.
“Our focus is on accountability, mastery and, in conjunction with the amazing Harcourts Academy team, I am confident that we have a place to nurture and support the best property management professionals in the industry,” she continued.
Prior to her work with Combined Franchise Services, Harcourts highlighted Ms Costigan’s consultancy work with Ray White Queensland principals, and her passion in supporting and challenging business owners to improve their efficiency.
Ms Costigan considered Harcourts as “dedicated to delivering technology that will allow us to measure and mentor property management businesses like never before”.
“It’s certainly a very exciting time to be joining this global network, and I am proud to have a national team of industry experts to support us in achieving our vision,” she concluded.
