The group has tapped a leader in property management to kick the expansion of their rent roll into high gear.
Mat Paramor joins the group in the role of property investment leader, working to grow the property management services team and achieve the company’s five-year goals in the rental sector.
Property management director Jodi Ford said that the team had a high bar to meet over the next four years. She outlined that the division’s key aims included “having 30 property investment agents on the team growing the rent roll by a further 10,000 managements that contribute to Coronis’ overall growth strategy”.
Mr Paramor will work alongside the network’s current property investment leaders, Fiona Nichols and Miles Johnston, to build out his own team of 10.
“Mat will play a massive role in growing our team; he brings a lot to the table and will help drive our business model to where it needs to be,” Ms Ford said.
On his part, Mr Paramor said he was immediately interested in the opportunity as he felt it spoke to his strengths.
“Growing teams and starting new departments is what I love to do, having built two income-generating departments in existing agencies before,” Mr Paramor said.
He intends to apply the lessons he’s learned over the past 16 years in real estate, working in Australia and the UK.
“What fascinates me about this industry is that there’s always an interesting mix of people from various backgrounds joining real estate, and I find as long as you have a good sense of humour, strong customer service and a strong work ethic, you’ll succeed,” he said.
He said his primary goal for the moment is to build his team and ensure they have the right tools at their disposal for the job ahead.
“I have been fortunate enough to see and experience lots of methods and business practices across several markets by living and working on an international scale which has been really beneficial for me,” Mr Paramor added.
“While there is no right or wrong way, I have been able to draw on my learnings and knowledge to build something that’s quite unique, and I’m thrilled to do it again with Coronis.”
