The alignment of a Queensland rent roll means the group now holds more than 9,500 properties under management.
It marks a “significant milestone” in Coronis’ growth trajectory, according to a statement from the group, which revealed that the addition of more than 550 properties under management would be coming from the acquisition of Queensland’s Propper.
The milestone also indicates the “commencement of Karuna Mazzocchi’s growth phase,” the statement continued.
Ms Mazzocchi was revealed as Coronis’ new CEO back in March 2023, and speaking of her plans for growth, has shared that “with this acquisition, we are demonstrating our commitment to a dual growth strategy of acquiring established portfolios while nurturing organic growth”.
All in all, she acknowledged “the rent roll forms the soul of our business, driving the growth and prosperity of our ecosystem”.
“Acquiring more rent rolls allows us to employ more people and enhance the overall ecosystem, including mortgage and finance, conveyancing and removalist services.”
Touting the leadership of Coronis’ property management state director Tracey Kelly and M&A director Jodi Ford in the acquisition, which was six months in the making, Ms Mazzocchi acknowledged their talents as “the driving force behind our ability to execute this strategy successfully”.
In announcing the news, Coronis Group also revealed that it would be furthering its expansion efforts outside of the Sunshine State, sharing its national outlook, and therefore, its intention to “pursue further acquisitions across the nation”, as it deepens its commitment to continuous improvement.
In fact, Coronis has hinted that another acquisition is actively in the works, while the business is also exploring further potential opportunities for acquisitions and mergers interstate.
The CEO espoused that their aim “is not only to expand our business but also to make a positive impact on the community”.
