A leading property management professional has joined the ranks at the Victorian real estate firm.

Sam Hatzistamatis has been appointed to the role of head of property management operations at Besser + Co Real Estate, with the brand stating that the onboarding of the professional underscores their commitment to “excellence and innovation in the property management industry”.

With more than 20 years entrenched in the real estate industry, Mr Hatzistamatis has spent time as a head of department, as an operations manager, and even as a network operations trainer at the likes of brands including Harcourts, Jellis Craig, and Little Real Estate.

With a bachelor of behavioural science, bachelor of business (marketing), and a certificate IV in training and assessment, Mr Hatzistamatis is also a director on the board of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV).

Dion Besser, director at Besser + Co, has expressed excitement at Mr Hatzistamatis’ alignment with the business, stating that “with Sam joining the team alongside Marcel Dybner, head of growth and technology, we are striving to become one of Victoria’s most successful property management departments”.

“Our goal is to provide our clients with unparalleled service and expertise,” he continued.

A statement from the business said that Mr Hatzistamatis’ appointment follows work done by Mr Dybner to “automate many of the tasks property managers need to perform, reducing the time required to complete them”.

It’s all part and parcel of the business’ approach to property management, which has “completely transformed” as a result.

Elaborating, Mr Besser shared: “We are constantly looking inwards to improve our output.”

“Working closely with our leadership team and property managers, we are constantly looking to improve our systems and procedures to make our staff’s jobs easier. We understand that by making it easier for our staff, we improve their work-life balance, job satisfaction, and ultimately improve the service we provide to our clients,” the director concluded.
