A former Socceroo has been secured as the group looks to continue its growth across property management.

Cunninghams has named Luke Casserly as its new business development manager, operating within the property management team.

Casserly himself said he is “excited and proud to join an organisation with such a fantastic reputation on the beaches”.

With Olympic caps and time spent representing the Socceroos under his belt, he said that “having been part of many winning teams, I look forward to contributing to continued growth and success at Cunninghams”.

In his new role, Casserly will draw on his wealth of leadership experience from his tenure spent as the head of national performance for Football Federation Australia, and stints across major FMCG organisations, while leveraging his insights gleaned from a decade spent as a local on the Northern Beaches.

According to Cunninghams, his “profound understanding of team dynamics and strategic growth makes him an ideal fit” as the brand plans to drive further growth across the region, which is currently grappling with a tight marketplace and limited stock”.

John Cunningham, the managing director of Cunninghams, said that “bringing on board someone of Luke’s calibre, background and expertise is about shifting the dial on what matters most to clients”.

“Luke’s role will cut across all aspects of business development and ensure that our clients feel safe and assured that their valuable assets are in the best, most professional hands,” he continued.

Casserly joins the team at the same time as the appointment of Nicola Jacobsen, who will take on a property manager position. Emma Jenkins is also aligning with the division, as a leasing manager.

Cunningham has expressed excitement at all three of the latest additions, “not only because they are all great people but also for the possibilities they bring to our next growth phase”.

The hiring coup comes as Cunninghams revels in its successful leasing of 48 properties across April, before achieving 10 leases per week across May.

The latest announcement from Cunninghams follows the appointment of a husband-and-wife duo to the sales team earlier this month.
