Some of Australia’s highest performing agents have been treated to an all-expense paid holiday in the Whitsundays as a reward for exceeding their previous high standards.
Coronis’ 2020 Centurion Club is designed to motivate agents to achieve their best, with personal records being rewarded with a holiday.
Managing director Andrew Coronis said the Coronis Centurion Club was open to all team members to qualify for throughout the financial year, with it being a life-changing experience for some agents.
Launched in 2016, 57 agents have qualified for a trip overseas.
“Another great memory I have of our Centurion Club was in 2016 when two Centurions got on their very first international flight; they had never left Australia before and thanks to their efforts which earned them a plane ticket, Coronis provided them with that experience. That’s truly special and I love that we were able to do that for them,” Mr Coronis said.
While pointing to the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the industry, Mr Coronis said he was proud to see 14 agents qualify.
“FY20 was a challenging year for a lot of people, but I am so proud that 14 of our real estate agents, property managers and mortgage brokers qualified for the 2020 Centurion Club,” Mr Coronis said.
“Centurion is a very special trip for us and has become one of the highlights of the year for our team.”
While pointing out the team’s holiday plans had to change this year due to border closures, Mr Coronis said it was an opportunity to support the local tourism sector.
“It’s meant to be an overseas holiday to a mystery destination, but due to COVID-19 and the border closures, we chose to take the team away to the Whitsundays to enjoy one of Australia’s best beaches that we’re lucky enough to have here in our own backyard,” he said.
“From enjoying dinner at the Yacht Club on Hamilton Island, cruising over to Whitehaven Beach, playing golf on Hamilton Island’s golf course and enjoying a couple of cocktails together, it was such an enjoyable trip and wonderful to spend some quality time with the team and relax away from work.”
The 2020 Coronis Centurion Club included agents Alexandra Porter and Jack Harvey; property managers Cathie Pilton, Kate Rankin, Rebekah Stott, Lisa Bright, Rebecca Daintry and Michaela Hully; mortgage brokers Mathew Crossley and Matthew Goodyear; support team members Emily Green and Sarah Sturdy; and directors Andrew Coronis, Jodi Ford and Tyson James.
