It’s only early in the season, but two Melbourne-based agency directors have been revealed as co-agents for Ronnie and Georgia’s House on the current season of The Block, “Fans vs Faves”.
David Wood, the director of Belle Property Albert Park, and Jenny Dwyer, principal director of Belle Property Sandringham, have been announced by the network as driving the campaign for “House #1”, located at 2 Bronte Court, Hampton.
Ronnie and Georgia Caceres would be remembered by regular viewers of the show as the third-placed team on The Block when they previously appeared in 2017.
Mr Wood himself is a veteran of the reality television show, having appeared on 11 seasons of The Block, and auctioning the winning property on three separate occasions.
As one of Hampton’s highest-performing agents, Ms Dwyer will be lending her experience to the campaign, with Belle Property reporting that the pair are already putting their heads together in hopes of delivering a win for their contestants.
Mr Wood said the pair’s goal “is to not only help Ronnie and Georgia make a healthy profit, but also to secure an overall win come auction day”.
Ms Dwyer said: “We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with these two serious contenders for The Block in 2021.”
Due to the ongoing restrictions brought about by COVID-19, the agents have indicated their use of “smart ways” to run a marketing campaign, and is set to feature “extensive video, virtual tours and online viewings in the event [that] open for inspections are curtailed”.
She said: “It’s great that we get to be involved so early on with the listing. We look forward to being able to support Ronnie and Georgia with their renovation, by sharing insights on the local market along with the property features and must-haves currently in demand with property hunters.”
Ms Dwyer has also shared that upmarket buyers in today’s market “are demanding quality finishes, combined with logical layouts and top-notch fixtures and fittings”.
“It’s crucial to get this balance right when renovating, avoiding under or over-capitalising, yet ensuring a perfect finish,” the principal director continued.
CEO of Belle Property Peter Hanscomb said the network is “thrilled that David and Jenny are the co-agents for Ronnie and Georgia’s house”.
Expressing that the group is “fully behind” The Block campaign, he added that Belle Property’s network of premium marketing suppliers, alignment with interiors magazine Belle and lifestyle platform Sitchu give him confidence that the pair “have access to the best tools in the business to achieve a fantastic result for their clients”.
He added that the network’s national referral network across 160 offices would also help Georgia and Ronnie “reach a wider group of potential buyers up and down the country”.
