NAB has been announced as the official business banking partner for Harcourts, fresh off the bank’s deal with another national network, Raine & Horne.
This partnership aims to deliver specialised business banking solutions to over 400 Harcourts offices and nearly 1,800 sales consultants nationwide.
As part of the joint venture, Harcourts agents will gain priority access to NAB’s payment platform, NAB Portal Pay, which aims to streamline property transactions across the sales and rental landscape.
Donna Kosiek, NAB professional services banking executive, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership.
“Many Harcourts agents and business owners are keen to seize new growth opportunities in the year ahead, and our dedicated real estate bankers are ideally positioned to support them at every step,” Kosiek said.
“With deep industry expertise and insights, NAB’s specialist bankers are uniquely equipped to help Harcourts agents navigate their distinct challenges and achieve their business goals.”
A recent report by NAB, the Next Gen Real Estate report, noted that over 80 per cent of real estate agency owners are planning to expand their business within the next 12 months. The report identifies people, acquisitions, and technology as the primary drivers of this growth.
Harcourts CEO Adrian Knowles highlighted this was certainly true of Harcourts offices, which would now be able to streamline their payment transaction methods to assist with growing and streamlining their operations.
“As Australia’s fastest-growing real estate brand, Harcourts really resonates with NAB’s focus on people and technology as key enablers of growth. We’re excited to be working with NAB’s team of specialist bankers with their deep understanding of the real estate industry,” Knowles said.
