Real Estate Business (REB) has revealed its Top 50 Sales Offices 2025 ranking, recognising excellence across the real estate sales industry.
Now in its 13th year, this prestigious ranking identifies the leading real estate sales teams driving the industry forward in an ever-evolving property market.
Having set the industry benchmark for excellence for over a decade, the Top 50 Sales Offices ranking recognises the resilience and dedication of sales offices that excelled in their local market and went above and beyond for clients.
The Top 50 Sales Offices ranking highlights the success of sales offices across Australia that leveraged the property boom during the 2023–24 financial year.
The ranking was determined based on a range of key metrics, including sales volume and efficiency levels, and is competitive for both large and small sales offices as it evaluates conversion rates and dollar value.
Entrants were required to provide the number of listings and settlements, total value of settlements, average days on market between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024, and the number of staff as of the end of FY24.
The new data indicates an improvement in real estate conditions as the average number of days on the market dropped in both the top 50 and top 10, signalling increased demand for properties.
In 2024, properties in the top 50 spent an average of 37.18 days on the market, which decreased to 32.21 in 2025. The top 10 experienced a sharper decline, with properties averaging 27.43 days in 2025, down from 37.06 the previous financial year.
This year’s property boom also led to an increase in the number of settlements. The top 50 rose from 492.54 last year to 554.37 in 2025, while the top 10 saw growth from 1,041.35 to 1,063.4.
The average total value of settlements also saw significant growth. Among the top 50, settlement values increased from $478,076,149 last year to $638,601,420 in 2025. Similarly, the top 10 climbed from $768,321,140 to $1,044,355,650.
The average sales price rose across both the top 10 and top 50, further reflecting the positive shift in real estate activity.
The top 50 saw an increase from $1,079,559 to $1,227,222, while the top 10 recorded a rise from $801,440 to $1,112,428.
The number of sales agents also grew year on year, with the average number in the top 50 increasing from 18.32 to 20.52, while the top 10 also rose from 36.5 to 39.4.
Similarly, support staff numbers grew, with the top 50 rising from an average of 9.07 to 13.23, and the top 10 increasing from 7.7 to 8.7.
While there was an improvement in the majority of metrics across the ranking, staff efficiency rate took a hit, decreasing from 23 for the top 50 and 28 for the top 10, to 21.5 and 25.3 in 2025, respectively.
Liam Garman, managing editor of real estate at Momentum Media, said:
"This year’s REB Top 50 Sales Offices ranking underscores the incredible resilience and adaptability of Australia’s real estate industry. Despite facing economic headwinds and a shifting market landscape, these sales offices have not only weathered the storm but thrived, setting new benchmarks for excellence and efficiency.
“REB’s Top 50 Sales Offices goes beyond the spin to see how Australia’s top-performing real estate teams are leading the industry: reducing number of days on the market and increasing their number of sales. Learning from these insights can be truly transformative.”
