McGrath Estate Agents has reinforced its focus on the Brisbane market by opening a new office in the inner-city suburb of Coorparoo.

The expansion extends the operations of McGrath Bulimba, now led by Queensland agents Tony O’Doherty and Jon Iceton.

Since joining McGrath in November 2024, the duo has extended their team, recruiting sales professional Amanda Becke and her team from Belle Property Coorparoo.

Chris Mourd, head of franchise at McGrath, emphasised Becke’s established reputation in the area as a key factor in accelerating the office’s launch.

“Amanda’s longstanding success in the Coorparoo community made it an easy decision to accelerate the opening of a second office for Tony and Jon,” he said.

“We are certain that Amanda’s exemplary track record combined with McGrath’s leading marketing platform will provide great value to the residents of Coorparoo, Greenslopes, Camp Hill and Holland Park.”

McGrath Coorparoo principal Iceton noted the expansion as a strategic opportunity.

“The opportunity for Tony and myself to collaborate with Amanda to spearhead our expansion is an exciting time for the growth of our business,” he stated.

“Importantly, Amanda has the same service levels and standards that we adhere to for our clients and enhance their opportunities to buy and sell property.”

Becke, who has lived and worked in Coorparoo for over 20 years, highlighted the suburb’s evolving real estate landscape.

“Coorparoo’s property market has evolved beautifully over the years, blending timeless charm with contemporary luxury,” she said.

“From classic Queenslanders to cutting-edge architectural designs, there’s a style to suit every lifestyle.”

Becke noted that beyond its housing market, Coorparoo offers vibrant cafes and convenient transport links.

“Equally its lovely lifestyle offering with a vibrant cafe culture and tree-lined streets is within easy access to north and southbound motorways, making it very convenient for commuters,” she said.

Coorparoo continues to attract families and professionals with its 5-kilometre proximity to Brisbane’s CBD and its mix of heritage Queensland and post-war homes.
