Campaign celebrates new tech’s early adopters

A tech company is shining a light on the industry’s big thinkers.

PropTech Group, a provider of real estate software used across Australia, New Zealand and the UK, has launched a campaign to celebrate the accomplishments, contributions, and hardships overcome by “the best in the real estate industry”.

Called “Our Industry Champions”, the initiative takes a new approach to a company’s normal marketing strategy.

PropTech Group managing director and chief executive Joe Hanna explained: “Instead of spending our marketing budget on promoting ourselves, we decided to shine the spotlight on the authentic faces of our industry and on their achievements.”

The group will be naming 12 champions over the course of the campaign, starting with the first awardee, Taryn Quinn, head of administration and digital at Brisbane’s Sash & Gable Property.

Serving Wynnum and the surrounding bayside area, Sash & Gable has recently overhauled its technology platform by implementing cloud-based solutions and automation services that allow agents to work from anywhere.

Ms Quinn was responsible for the upgrade.

“I have always advocated for early technology adoption. There are so many possibilities in the digital landscape that too many in the real estate industry overlook,” Ms Quinn said of the motivation for the recent big investment in new tech.

“What I want from technology is for it to free our agents and their clients to focus on what really matters: achieving the best results. We want to improve the journey for so many who pass through our doors,” she added.
