For the Innovator of the Year at the 10th annual REB Awards, success comes from the collaboration and innovation afforded to them by technology.
Since its inception five years ago, Upside Realty has focused on implementing industry-leading technological processes, such as remote work, agent mentoring, in-house marketing, and market-first AI technology, which is powered through the company’s collaboration with NurtureCloud.
The firm, which currently operates in NSW, Victoria, Queensland and the ACT, believes it is not only these technological innovations that led to their victory at the REB Awards, but also the mentoring, growth, and support that their business model grows and nurtures.
According to the brand, a core part of Upside’s success is the mentoring program that runs concurrently with their tech systems. This strategy accommodates for agent growth and development under the guidance of a more experienced operator, whose role ranges from motivating and advising others right through to assisting in difficult meetings or negotiations.
Importantly, mentors do not compete with the agent and therefore don’t impact their commission.
Agents are also supported by a full-time team of PAs and head office support that takes care of all marketing.
Upside’s chief executive Adam Rigby, believes the award showcases their business’ holistic approach to business success.
“While it is important to innovate to drive business goals, we believe when you innovate for the outcome of a happier and more successful workforce, then the positive outcome is far greater,” Mr Rigby said.
