A network veteran is diving into the tech sector, taking on a head of innovation role in-house.
Propic has revealed its recruitment of Ryan Campbell, effective this month.
Mr Campbell, who previously held the role of MarTech head at McGrath and is an LJ Hooker alum, will be taking on the head of innovation role with the artificial intelligence leader.
Having spent 25 years within the industry, Mr Campbell has expressed that he is “looking forward to a new challenge driving innovation that impacts the entire ecosystem of real estate”.
“The next generation of modern real estate agencies will be driven by Propic and I’m personally and professionally motivated to play a significant part in that digital transformation,” he shared.
In the head of innovation role, Mr Campbell will report to Propic chief executive and founder Jeffery Gray and will reportedly be responsible for product development, while also working with Propic pioneering clients, such as Kay + Burton, Place Estate Agents, and Leah Jay.
According to Propic, the appointment of Mr Campbell comes as the company experiences huge demand for artificial intelligence solutions Australia-wide.
Speaking of Mr Campbell’s alignment with the group, Mr Gray has revealed that “Ryan gets as excited as I do about the value our proptech brings to people’s lives, and it’s a privilege to have him join the team at this pivotal time in our history.”
And with the CEO determined to stay ahead of future demand both in Australia and abroad, he argued that traditional forms of prospecting are “archaic, soul destroying and inefficient”.
Instead, he sees the future of real estate as “full of speaking to people ready to buy, sell, rent or invest, and truly adding human value in moments that matter to them”.
From Mr Campbell’s perspective, “Propic has some truly great technology solutions that transform the lives of our clients, making them more productive and allowing them to spend more time with the people they value”.
It’s been a busy period for the proptech, which onboarded Place Estate Agents into its ecosystem at the beginning of March 2022.
Having also made an on-stage appearance at REB’s REInnovate in the same week, Jeffery Gray has since made an appearance on Proptech Pulse, talking through some of the common misconceptions about artificial intelligence and explaining some of the ways the technology is already changing the real estate space.
