The network has applauded the rollout of its new, “state-of-the-art” intranet platform.
According to Harcourts Australia chief executive Adrian Knowles, “to say that this is an exciting and significant step for Harcourts is a huge understatement”.
“It is, in fact, a giant leap forward in terms of the way everyone at Harcourts operates online,” Mr Knowles said.
He explained that the hub replaces the network’s existing technology across Harcourts, NAI Harcourts, and Nutrien Harcourts and has been customised for business owners, property managers, sales consultants, and administration professionals.
The CEO also quipped that the new offering “delivers a world-class system of technology that provides clarity, connectedness, and centralisation”.
Within 24 hours, the Harcourts Hub had already seen 10,000-plus page visits and more than 1,000 logins.
Harcourts has touted the intranet’s unique features, such as a customisable dashboard; real-time performance statistics; brand guidelines and marketing campaigns; online learning and training resources; events calendars and news from the network.
Mr Knowles said that “a huge amount of listening and learnings went into the development of the hub”.
“It’s a massive job, involving brilliant people doing long hours, but we were determined to make the hub the most useful and powerful tool we could give our people,” he espoused.
“And the way it has been embraced since the launch is thrilling.”
Ease of use was top of mind for the intranet’s development, and it’s been all the more engaging with the introduction of a “Hunt the Hub Hero” competition.
The CEO said it “brings some fun” into the hub’s introduction and involves a daily hub search for the caped Hub Hero, which also sees users given a chance to win daily prizes.
All in all, Mr Knowles believes that “having the hub means that Harcourts can simply do more and do it better”.
“It’s the perfect location for every network member to be connected, educated, celebrated, and updated,” he said.
