Having posted 58 per cent annualised revenue growth in its full-year results for financial year 2022, Homely has appointed its first head of investor relations to maintain momentum.

Ben Williams, co-founder and director of technology-based property management company My Rental, will fill that role. He also possesses seven years at Hockingstuart and Marshall White; Mr Williams will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role.

“Having been in the property industry my entire working career, I am very excited about joining a company that will undoubtedly leave a mark on the Australian business landscape,” he said.

Mr Williams will work alongside Homely co-chief executive officer and co-founder Jason Spencer, with the primary objective of maintaining and strengthening relationships with the group’s strategic partners — approximately 650 of them — while also setting the business up to advance into its next growth stage.

“I look forward to working with Jason and the leadership team to deliver Homely’s exciting vision to the market,” Mr Williams added.

Speaking on what Mr Williams will bring to the company, Mr Spencer explained: “Having spent his entire career focused on the intersection of property and market dynamics, Ben brings a wealth of real estate and financial experience to the role.

“This new leadership role demonstrates the breadth of talent we have within team Homely and reflects our growth trajectory.

“I’m looking forward to being able to work even more closely with valued partners and supporters with Ben.”

Mr Williams’ arrival is the latest in a string of appointments by Homely this year, which included the promotion of Michelle Mullan to the role of Victorian state sales manager, as well as the appointment of a head of marketing in April
