One year on from the launch of its digital property inspections tool, Express is celebrating its successful reception from industry professionals and landlords.
With the debut of its product Inspections Express 360, the firm was looking to change up the industry standard of labour-intensive, in-person check-ups to ensure that rental properties are being well maintained.
According to the proptech, it set out to develop a tool to “not only transform the property inspection landscape but also redefine the way property managers and landlords perceive their most valuable assets”.
The fully digital experience relies on the use of 360-degree technology to create immersive visual experiences that provide a comprehensive view of every property aspect.
“From the smallest details to the grandest spaces, nothing escapes the meticulous scrutiny of Inspections Express 360. This not only speeds up the inspection process but also enhances accuracy and transparency,” Express touted.
Now, with feedback from property managers and owners, the tech firm reports that those using their tool have been able to greatly reduce the time required for each inspection, “enabling them to focus on higher-value tasks and manage a larger portfolio”.
“The intuitive interface also streamlines reporting, reducing the chances of errors and ensuring every detail is captured,” the company noted.
Express reported that one client called their tool a “game changer” for the entire inspection team.
Landlords, meanwhile, have reportedly been pleased with the additional insight allowed into their investments.
“Keeping [investment properties] in top condition is paramount,” the firm commented.
“The introduction of immersive 360-degree tours has empowered landlords to gain an in-depth understanding of their properties’ condition. This enhanced insight enables them to make more informed decisions, prioritise maintenance tasks and demonstrate the value of their properties to potential tenants or buyers.”
Looking ahead, the proptech will be rolling out the product with a number of new agencies and continuing its push to use emerging technologies to advance the property management experience – a field it believes is “brimming with exciting possibilities”.
