Listing Loop is rolling out AI-backed technology that can generate a professional 2D floor plan from your smartphone.

The proptech developer has announced FloorPlan AI, a new technology that allows consumers and professionals alike to create a floor plan in five minutes from their smartphone and receive the finished product in under 24 hours.

Listing Loop reported that FloorPlan AI is able to produce these accurate 2D floor plans via walking through each room of a property and using a personal phone camera to scan your surroundings.

In doing this, FloorPlan AI is able to generate a myriad of details within the floor plans including property layout, room names, room dimensions, room fixtures and square meterage.

FloorPlan AI will reportedly charge $32 per floor plan (excluding GST), notably maintaining this flat rate regardless of the property’s size or if the property is a single or double storey.

Listing Loop’s announcement of FloorPlan AI is one that comes off the momentum gained from the company’s recent expansion to include rental listings in addition to their existing sales listings, further realising the company’s ambition of consolidating the property transaction journey into an all-in-one platform.

Co-founder and CEO of Listing Loop, Rhett Dallwitz, was vocal about the companys intentions to target property managers and sales agents through establishing a new industry standard: the ability to generate professional quality 2D floor plans for “only 20 per cent of traditional floor plan prices”.

“We are confident that FloorPlan AI will speed up the leasing process,” he detailed.

“FloorPlan AI will significantly improve efficiencies by accelerating floor plan production and minimising the time involved in organising private inspections if the potential tenants can see the floor plan upfront,” Dallwitz said.

Testimonials have been resoundingly positive, with Collings Real Estate director, Christian Gravias, declaring FloorPlan AI to be a “game changer”.

“Our property management team can now factor floor plans into their marketing costs, especially considering we can get a floor plan done for just $32. Previously it has been too expensive for landlords,” explained Gravias.

“This is a big deal because it’ll help us rent our properties faster. Potential tenants can straight away see if the property is right for them or not, and it will avoid unnecessary inspections,” Gravias concluded.
