The proptech innovator is merging with the brand marketing specialist to create an all-new group, in a way being touted as “never seen before”.
The new group, named Colab•6, is a merger between Propps and rowdyfox, and has been reported by the group as heralding in “a new age in the way real estate agents integrate their technology from the beginning to the end of the agent’s journey”.
Under the Colab•6 banner, the services provided by Propps and rowdyfox will continue to operate as usual – as well as offer the services of an independent proptech consultancy “that can build and integrate new and existing tech solutions into one seamless solution”.
As a merged entity, the group already has more than 14,000 agent customers across Australia alone – and a combined 47,000-strong customer network across 120 countries, meaning the group’s leaders see a clear path to rapid growth both domestically and across the globe.
Taking on the CEO role at Colab•6 Group will be Daniel Bignold, the founder of Propps, who noted the need for “an all-encompassing” integrated solution for agents.
He said: “The rise of proptech providers has introduced a multitude of solutions aimed at narrow pain points, resulting in real estate agents, offices and groups being bombarded with proptech ‘must-haves’.”
Noting a clear recognition of the need for technological solutions by agents, he conceded “many agents remain unsure where to start, [and] what’s right for them and their business”.
That, in turn, means many agents are not only unable to integrate these solutions effectively, they “struggle to achieve a return on investment”.
From his perspective, “Colab•6 can now be an agent’s first point of contact as we act as a proptech integrator where we help piece the puzzle together under one roof”.
And their services won’t stop with their existing capacities either, with Bignold stressing their “extensive and industry leading partner network”.
Joining Bignold at the executive level of the new-look group is Sarah Lefebvre, founder of rowdyfox.
As group CMO, Lefebvre is able to leverage extensive experience from brands including LJ Hooker, McGrath and DiJones.
She called the merged business “an exciting evolution for the rowdyfox business and also for the industry”.
Remarking that real estate professionals and businesses “are increasingly defined by the strength of their brand”, she said “this is where it all starts”.
“By adding rowdyfox services into the Colab•6 group, we are now able to ensure all of our customers start with a strong digital brand – one that captures attention, builds trust and converts opportunities,” she said.
For Bignold, the core reason for the launch of Colab•6 is “clear”.
“We exist to add value to the entire real estate agent journey by providing simplified and integrated technology solutions to help them win more customers, manage more listings and close more deals,” the CEO concluded.
