Rebecca Berry has been revealed as the latest addition to the Wingman Group.
Since its inception in late 2022, Wingman Group, the offshoring business founded by Jonathan Bell, has grown from strength to strength.
According to the business, it’s now closing in on 1,000 team members as it continues to align with brands and networks Australia-wide.
Rapid growth means “more staff are required on the ground”.
Enter Rebecca Berry; she joins the team following 15 years of ownership in one of Victoria’s biggest Belle offices.
Highlighting her extensive experience across property management and business structures, Berry’s alignment with the brand will see her bring knowledge and innovation to the group, which reportedly aligns “perfectly with Wingman’s vision to change the perception of offshoring”.
With a background in leading property management teams, Berry has also been recognised for her role in operational leadership, having won the Real Estate Institute of Victoria’s (REIV) operational leadership award two years in a row.
According to Berry, it’s an honour to align with Wingman Group.
“I look forward to collaborating with such a talented team and contributing to our shared vision, the impact that Wingman has had on the industry is nothing short of phenomenal and I wanted to be part of this special group of high performers,” she commented.
Berry joins an “all-star” industry team, which includes Kathryn Smith in sales operations, general manager Jonathan Rostron, and director Nick Georges.
According to Georges, Wingman Group is “committed to building out a world-class team with the best in the industry, and Rebecca is just that”.
“Her expertise and passion for growing teams and business will be invaluable as we continue to drive our unmatched offering across the real estate industry.”
Georges has previously remarked that offshoring – or the hiring of overseas talent to undertake certain business tasks – is often misconstrued.
He told REB: “The perception of offshoring is big call centres with hundreds of people crammed in; chaos, and very sort of low-level administration staff.”
In reality, it couldn’t be further from the truth.
“The quality of the people; they’re all very loyal people.”
“All of them have university degrees, English is their first language, [they’re] very, very driven, [and it’s] a very, very loyal culture,” he stated.
