Harcourts has partnered with the rental application platform Snug in a bid to enhance leasing efficiency and elevate the customer experience for renters and property managers.

The network has selected Snug as its preferred leasing management platform, and will integrate the company’s technology across its fleet of offices to enhance operational efficiencies and deliver a seamless leasing process.

Established in 2017, the Snug platform streamlines the leasing process for property managers by providing tools for managing open home inspections, tenant communications and screening, affordability checks, and visual checklists.

Harcourts said the collaboration with Snug aims to simplify leasing for its property managers by automating workflows and cutting down on administrative burden to improve the experience for tenants.

The network also noted that the platform has been designed to seamlessly integrate into Harcourts’ existing systems to ensure that property managers can smoothly transition into using the new leasing tools.

Head of property management at Harcourts, Karmen Costigan, said that the network’s partnership with Snug aligns with its strategy of adopting cutting-edge technologies.

“Our focus has always been on delivering the best possible experience for both our clients and our teams,” Costigan said.

“Snug’s platform will provide our property managers with the tools they need to operate more effectively while offering a frictionless leasing process for tenants,” she added.

General manager at Snug, Robyn Adair, said the company was excited to collaborate with Harcourts and bring its leasing technology to a wider network.

“We are thrilled to be working with Harcourts to enhance the leasing experience,” Adair said.

“By integrating Snug’s technology with Harcourts’ systems, we are enabling property managers to streamline operations and focus on delivering exceptional service,” she concluded.

This new partnership sees Snug continue its momentum from last year, when the integration of the proptech’s platform with the direct and automated rental payments platform Managed App was completed to industry acclaim.
