LJ Hooker

LJ Hooker is one of Australia’s largest networks. It started humbly in a small office in Maroubra, Sydney in 1928. Its founder, Sir Leslie Joseph Hooker, led the agency through the Great Depression, World War II and market downturns, before pioneering the first real estate investment trust in the 1950s, national real estate agency network in the 1960s, and largest home developers by the 1970s. Now LJ Hooker operates 730 offices across 8 locations through Australasia.
