John Bateman Harcourt first established Wellington-based Harcourt & Co. in 1879, but it wasn’t until 1888 that the company entered the real estate industry. It has 830 offices in 10 countries including Canada, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, and South Africa. The company expanded operations to Australia in 1997, beginning with seven offices in Queensland, and it is now one of the fastest growing groups in Australasia. Harcourts offers a full range of real estate services.
